The testing materials are to be shown with the required construction effort. In most cases, it is sufficient to
show the composition with the key measurements and information for the function.
Geometries which can be created based on the CAD model for the specimen do not have to be measured. Drawings of individual parts should only be prepared if these cannot be clearly shown in the composite drawing.
Cast items are generally not measured. If complete construction documents are required, this is stated in the order. As a rule, a printout of the construction CAD data is sufficient. All gauge constructions must be archived for a period of seven years and must be updated if these are changed. All data must be available during this period.
